Turning it on in Treeton

By April 24, 2020 July 28th, 2020 Jindong Treeton, News, Off-grid

RBSS is again heading back down to the south-west of WA to Jindong Treeton Farm and Homestead.

Located 250km south of Perth, next to the Margaret River Wine Region – Jindong Treeton Farm is going off-grid. And though they may not have any reds flowing from the farm – they will soon have Redflow powering it.

The property owners are looking ahead to have 3-phase power installed to meet expansion plans and machinery power requirements. The local southwest power utility was not a viable solution financially – so RBSS has stepped in with a design to meet their budget and power needs.

RBSS has proposed a 40kWh storage system with capacity for expansion to 60kWh, coupled to a 1.5kW wind turbine and 20kW solar array. With the right battery (Redflow) and inverters (Victron) – Jindong Treeton Farm will soon be running clean and green off-grid with room to grow.

Works expected to start in early May with completion early June.

We will keep you posted.
