By January 29, 2020 June 4th, 2020 News, Off-grid, Yallalong Station

Renewable Battery Storage Solutions (RBSS) has recently completed the installation of a Redflow ZCell energy storage system at Yallalong Station, a 348,000 ha cattle station 650km north of Perth in Western Australia.

RBSS installed four Redflow ZCell zinc-bromine flow batteries and a 15kVA Victron Quattro inverter to store energy from 9.5 kilowatt/peak solar array, also designed and installed by RBSS. The system, which can store up to 40 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of energy, enables the station to operate completely off-grid, 24 hours a day and will save the owners as much as $10,000 a year in diesel costs

We will have more details about the installation in a Case Study soon – so check back regularly for updates.
