Jindong Treeton – Project update 3

By April 29, 2021 June 3rd, 2021 Jindong Treeton, News

RBSS has entered the final stretch at Jindong Treeton Farm and we are back in the battery room.

Since the last update, we have been doing a lot of ground works (aka – trenching), and now that all the cables are in place the TIEC team has been busy connecting up the system, as well as installing a new wind turbine

The Jindong Treeton Farm battery energy storage system has evolved somewhat from initial designs to accommodate the client’s specific needs and demands of the location.

Inside the battery room we have the 6 x 10kwh Redflow ZBM2 batteries all neatly stacked in their custom racks, with room for two more to meet the future expansion plans. The 4 x Victron MPPT Controllers are on the back wall ready to harvest energy from the 24.5kW rooftop solar array and wind turbine and 3 x 10kVA Victron Quattro Inverter/Chargers are now all wired up ready to distribute the 3-phase power to the farm and homestead.

RBSS will be doing final testing and commissioning in the coming weeks.
